About this role

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Technician, Electronic, to support assembly, testing, and production of electronic devices for surface and subsea applications within a LEAN manufacturing environment. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly, utilizing schematics, engineering drawings, and standard lab equipment to troubleshoot and maintain electronic systems. Ideally located in Long Beach, MS, this position requires supporting projects from concept through full-rate production for the Defense and Maritime sectors.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of electronic devices
Install circuit board components using surface and through-hole techniques
Utilize lab equipment to assess and troubleshoot electronic assemblies
Read and follow engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures
Maintain clean work environment and manage assembly fixtures
