About this role

Leidos Australia is seeking an Electronics Technician to maintain and support advanced maritime and defence technologies, including Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and hydrographic survey systems. The role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring mission-critical systems remain reliable and compliant for the Royal Australian Navy. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams and Defence stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support critical survey capabilities.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support maritime and defence technologies including AUVs and hydrographic survey systems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and system inspections to ensure operational readiness
Contribute to configuration management, software updates, and cyber-hardening activities while maintaining technical documentation
