Emergency Communications Dispatcher

This position provides prompt and accurate dispatching for multiple police, fire, and related emergency response agencies through two-way radio and computer-aided dispatch systems. The role involves receiving and disseminating emergency and non-emergency calls for service from citizens, including providing emergency medical dispatch during medical emergencies. The dispatcher operates various communication systems such as OLETS, NLETS, and NCIC to coordinate multi-unit responses and ensure officer safety.
