Emergency Department Case Manager

The Emergency Department Case Manager functions independently and collaboratively to ensure appropriate resource utilization for patients across the continuum of care. This role provides strategic guidance to clinical and operations staff to ensure patients are placed in the correct level of care. The case manager evaluates patients for hospital admission, completes initial InterQual assessments, and assists with outpatient follow-up plans for discharged patients.
