About this role

Provide patient care, triage, and nursing assessment in all areas of the Emergency Department for adult and pediatric patients across all triage priorities. The role requires competency in stabilization of critically ill patients, transport of critical cases, and adherence to certification and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and nursing assessment in the Emergency Department
Triage and prioritize adult and pediatric patients across all acuity levels
Transport critical patients, including burn, neurological, and trauma cases
Deliver education and public relations support to patients and staff
Maintain compliance with physical, attendance, and employment standards

Skills

Qualifications

Current registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationECG monitoring with arrhythmia interpretationPost‑diploma Emergency courses
