About this role
The ED Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical peer support to patients in the Emergency Department who are at risk for or experiencing alcohol and drug dependency. The role supports linkage to substance use treatment and community services, assists with referrals and service plans, and provides follow-up outreach. The coach works as part of the ED team to encourage recovery and facilitate connections to appropriate resources.
