Emergency Department RN Transition to Practice Program

The Emergency Department RN Transition to Practice Program is a 12‑week training initiative for new nurses at South Shore Health’s Level II Trauma Center. Participants receive hands‑on experience in patient assessment, care planning, and delivery, and upon successful completion are placed in a full‑time night shift position in the Emergency Department.
