Emergency Department Tech

The Emergency Department Tech provides direct patient care support in the emergency department, assisting nurses and providers with vital sign collection, equipment setup, wound care, phlebotomy, and other technical tasks. The role involves maintaining the tracking board, managing supplies, ensuring a safe environment, and performing procedures such as EKGs and splint applications on a PRN/variable schedule.
