About this role
An Emergency Department Technician at Sentara Port Warwick is a full-time clinical support role in the Emergency Department working mid/swing shift. The position supports emergency and minor emergency care and is intended for candidates who have completed or are enrolled in an approved clinical/certification program. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Enrollment in Clinical Program (RN/LPN/RT/PT)
- PCT or Nursing Assistant Experience (within last 3 years)
- AHA BLS (within 90 days of hire)
