About this role

Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, this role assists with emergency outpatients and performs approved duties. The position reports to the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and/or Shift Supervisor. The assistant is responsible for patient transport, basic care, and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide general and basic patient care including positioning and lifting
Perform routine treatment procedures such as splinting and wound cleansing
