About this role
This role organizes, coordinates, plans and conducts emergency preparedness and response activities for assigned healthcare facilities, including bio/chem events, evacuations, surge and severe weather. The position leads development and management of Emergency Operations Plans, conducts drills and exercises, and serves on the Incident Management Team during disasters. It also ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards and acts as a liaison with local, regional, and state emergency management counterparts.
