Emergency Vehicle Technician

This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic and specialty equipment in City vehicles, including warning lights, sirens, GPS, and two-way radios. The position involves troubleshooting technical issues, fabricating metal components, and managing parts procurement while adhering to ITIL processes. The incumbent will collaborate with city employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure the timely resolution of equipment problems and support the annual radio preventative maintenance program.
