Armed Services YMCA of the USA
The Emerging Educators Pathway is a six-week program designed for individuals with little or no experience in Early Childhood Education to gain practical knowledge and training through on-the-job experience and mentorship. Participants will learn developmentally appropriate practices, assist with daily program implementation, and support children's education, well-being, and safety within the Armed Services YMCA Norfolk Child Development Center. The program provides training on sanitation, licensing regulations, and emergency procedures, culminating in several professional certificates.
