Employment Specialist

The Employment Specialist assists clients in obtaining and maintaining competitive community-based employment aligned with their vocational goals, primarily working in the community to build employer partnerships and conduct functional needs assessments. The role involves determining the appropriateness of Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) services, developing individual employment plans, and providing ongoing support to help clients manage symptoms of mental illness or substance use disorders. This position requires collaboration with clients, families, and treatment teams to foster skill development and ensure long-term employment sustainability.
