Employment Support Professional

The Employment Support Professional assists adults with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and mental health or substance use challenges in obtaining and retaining unsubsidized employment. The role involves developing job opportunities with private and public employers, providing follow-up support services, and coordinating a wide range of supportive employment services based on the Individual Supportive Employment with Long-Term Vocational Supports model. The position requires effective communication, customer service, and counseling skills to promote client self-advocacy and job retention.
