About this role

The Empress EMS Academy Instructor is responsible for the instructional development of Academy students, preparing them to successfully pass the New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) State Exam. Under the general supervision of the Course Sponsor and the Director of Clinical Education, the Instructor organizes, administers, and evaluates the effectiveness of the training curriculum in accordance with all applicable New York State guidelines and protocols.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver EMT-B training curriculum aligned with New York State guidelines
Evaluate student progress and provide performance feedback and remedial support
Maintain accurate enrollment records and serve as liaison with state health departments

Skills

Qualifications

New York State Certified Instructor Certification (CIC)High School Diploma or equivalent
