EMS Specialist - HST

This position provides proactive assistance and rapid, initial emergency response to a designated highway safety route and/or area, utilizing a dual operational model that combines highway patrol services with immediate medical capabilities. The role requires active patrolling of a high-risk corridor from within an ambulance or remaining in a designated staged area during specified daily hours. Operating on a 48/96 schedule, the primary objective is to drastically reduce response times and prevent secondary incidents through high visibility and rapid intervention.
