About this role

The EMT Basic will respond to emergent and non‑emergent calls, ensure the ambulance is stocked, and assist with inter‑facility transfers on a PRN basis, typically covering one 24‑hour shift per month, often on Saturdays. This part‑time role requires a Wyoming Paramedic license, BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide pre‑hospital evaluation and treatment of sick or injured patients
Operate ambulance in emergent and non‑emergent situations
Perform daily vehicle inspections and equipment inventory
Maintain complete and accurate patient care reports
Assist with inter‑facility transfers and ensure ambulance is stocked
