About this role

The Engine Mechanic supports the Chief Engineer with the maintenance, operation, and repair of all vessel systems, including propulsion, electrical, water, waste, HVAC, and hotel equipment. This role works aboard expedition vessels, contributing to safe and reliable ship operations while adhering to regulatory and sanitation standards. It includes administrative tasks such as maintaining maintenance records and inventories, as well as participation in safety, security, and emergency response activities. The position follows a rotational schedule of approximately six weeks on and six weeks off.
