About this role

An Engineer in Technical Services supports fleet-wide engineering efforts to improve the reliability and long-term effectiveness of Associated Electric Cooperative’s generation assets. The role involves working across HRSG systems, high energy piping, and emissions-control equipment to solve complex technical issues and support power generation operations safely. Responsibilities include inspection planning, outage coordination, vendor management, and developing technical projects and maintenance recommendations.

Responsibilities

Support HRSG reliability through inspection planning and outage coordination
Lead mechanical support for SCR catalyst management and vendor coordination
Develop scopes of work, technical bids, and maintenance recommendations
Collaborate with plant personnel to solve equipment reliability challenges
Support continuous improvement in power generation and emissions systems
