About this role

This role performs safety analyses and probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) in accordance with industry standards for X-energy technologies. The incumbent authoring technical documentation, using specialized software to maintain design models, and providing risk insights to support project development and licensing.

Responsibilities

Perform probabilistic risk assessments and safety analyses according to industry standards
Develop and maintain PRA models including event and fault trees
Interface with customers and regulators during nuclear safety reviews
Prepare technical reports and safety basis documents
Collaborate with engineering teams to inform design and licensing decisions

Skills

Qualifications

BS in Engineering (nuclear, chemical, or mechanical) from an ABET accredited university
