Engineering Assistant

Under the direction of the County Engineer, the Engineering Assistant performs general engineering duties, inspects roads, bridges, and traffic control devices, and assists in determining maintenance projects and priorities. The role involves monitoring construction work, maintaining project records, conducting surveys, and preparing material estimates to support county repair and maintenance initiatives. The employee also participates in annual training and certification programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
