Engineering Designers – Chassis Wiring Harness and Braking Systems

This hybrid role involves designing complex brake system components, including wheel speed sensors, motor-on-caliper park brakes, and electro-mechanical brake caliper jumper harnesses, using Siemens NX software. The engineer will perform clearance analyses, create routing diagrams for hoses and pipes, and develop parameterized CAD models that align with General Motors' design best practices and vehicle assembly standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the position supports requirements definition, design reviews, and integration of subsystems into vehicle platforms while adhering to strict manufacturability and global data security guidelines.
