About this role

Accelleron is seeking hands-on Engineering Interns to support shop operations, specifically focusing on industrial turbocharger systems within their manufacturing facility. This role emphasizes real-world experience in manufacturing, mechanical systems, and continuous improvement rather than desk-based work. Interns will work alongside technicians and engineers to improve safety, efficiency, and workflow on the shop floor through organization and direct technical support.

Responsibilities

Conduct shop audit and implement 5S organizational standards
Assist with disassembly inspection cleaning and reassembly support
Maintain clean safe and well-organized workshop workspace
Shadow technicians to learn rebuild processes
Follow safety protocols including lockout tagout and rigging
