Engineering Manager, Platform Software

The Engineering Manager for Platform Software leads the Platform Software section within Caterpillar’s Core Embedded Software division, providing people and technical leadership for about 20 global team members. The role is responsible for delivery of FPGA and board support package software for electronic control modules across Caterpillar product lines and for guiding product line direction and roadmaps. The position manages a global budget of approximately $6–7M and collaborates with systems teams and senior technical leadership to ensure integration, performance, and validation.
