About this role

As an Engineering Systems Product Manager at Slate, you will own the connective tissue between engineering and operations, managing the product layer that transforms CAD decisions into manufacturable parts and actionable shop floor work. The role involves product-managing engineering and manufacturing change processes across PLM, ERP, and MES systems, partnering with technical teams to ensure seamless data and decision flow. You will lead roadmaps for system integration and BOM strategies while residing with engineers and operators to design robust change workflows and user experiences.

Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap for engineering systems integration across PLM, ERP, and MES
Define end-to-end engineering and manufacturing change processes including ECR, ECO, and MCO workflows
Lead the EBOM-to-MBOM transition strategy and routing derivation mechanisms
Partner with PLM, ERP, and MES teams to align platform behavior with engineering intent
Drive product discovery by collaborating with engineers, planners, and operators to improve workflows
