Engineering Technician – Field Services

A Field Services Engineering Technician acts as the on-site representative for the Town, ensuring municipal infrastructure projects and private developments comply with approved plans, standards, and legislation. The role involves conducting field inspections, monitoring environmental controls, witnessing quality assurance testing, and coordinating with contractors, developers, and planning staff. This position requires working in both office and field settings to oversee construction progress, verify as-built drawings, and resolve technical issues related to roads, watermains, and utilities.
