About this role

Until is building organ-scale reversible cryopreservation technology to preserve donated organs at subzero temperatures without ice formation and rewarm them for transplant. The internship supports an interdisciplinary effort developing the core systems that enable vitrification and uniform rewarming, with the long-term vision of whole-body reversible cryopreservation. The role is designed for hands-on applied physicists and engineers who want to work across the full stack of hardware and system design.

About Until

untillabs.com

Until is a biotechnology company building a “pause button” for biology by developing reversible cryopreservation technologies so transplantable organs (and ultimately whole bodies) can be preserved until a recipient is found. Their work aims to extend organ viability, reduce organ wastage, and improve transplant access through new preservation tools, protocols, and engineering approaches. Until has assembled a multidisciplinary team and raised $48M to advance scalable, clinically translatable cryopreservation solutions.
