About this role

This role involves building and owning a named-account list of 30–40 enterprise accounts in Japan, working alongside a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive Telnyx's enterprise business. The position focuses on selling programmable voice, messaging, and AI solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on in-person field sales and closing large deals. As a founding member of the local sales pod, the individual will help define the sales playbook and establish key references in the Japanese market.

Responsibilities

Own named enterprise accounts and build executive relationships
Run full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Design architectures and build POCs with Forward Deployed Engineers
