The Environmental Engineer provides environmental compliance and occupational safety and health expertise at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This in-office role involves performing technical and field-based activities related to asbestos management, stormwater, air emissions, spill response, and the Environmental Occupational Safety & Health Management System. The position requires evaluating environmental conditions, assessing regulatory compliance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental compliance activities for asbestos, stormwater, air emissions, and spill response
Conduct asbestos inspections, facility surveys, and prepare technical reports and drawings
Evaluate occupational health hazards and develop controls to ensure regulatory compliance
