Environmental Geologist (Geologist 3)

The Environmental Geologist serves as a risk and decision support geoscientist within the Geological Survey Division, focusing on the assessment of bedrock, surficial geology, and geochemistry to support environmental protection and land use planning. The role involves leading the characterization of geological hazards such as radon, karst, and slope stability, while collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver environmental geoscience field studies. This position requires interpreting geoscience data and creating geospatial decision-support products to manage environmental geohazards and protect public health and infrastructure.
