About this role

The Environmental Services Bed Control Liaison serves as a critical link between the Command Center and Environmental Services teams to ensure timely patient room turnover and bed availability. This role coordinates EVS staffing resources to prioritize discharged, critical care, STAT, and patient-assigned rooms, supporting efficient patient placement and hospital operations. The position collaborates closely with Bed Control Specialists, Command Center personnel, nursing staff, and EVS leadership to monitor room status, reduce delays in the bed turnover process, and improve patient flow.

Responsibilities

Coordinate EVS resources to support timely room turnover and patient bed placement
Collaborate with Command Center staff regarding admissions, transfers, and bed assignments
Monitor and prioritize STAT, ICU, and patient-assigned bed requests
