About this role

The Site Environmental Specialist ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations by developing and managing compliance programs, conducting audits, and maintaining permits. This role involves leading incident investigations, monitoring environmental metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainability initiatives and pollution prevention strategies. The specialist also serves as a liaison with regulatory agencies and provides environmental training to staff.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage environmental compliance programs aligned with EPA and TCEQ standards
Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify non-compliance
Maintain and update environmental permits for air, water, and waste authorizations
