Environmental Technician I (S)

The Gill Net Technician works on the Pamlico Sound Independent Gill Net Survey, collecting biological data on fish and crustacean species, including measurements, reproductive condition, diet samples, and tagging. The role involves operating and maintaining sampling equipment, processing and verifying data, and supporting additional fisheries surveys, often requiring early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekend work.
