Equipment Operator II - C

Under general supervision, this role is responsible for operating and maintaining various light to heavy equipment used in the construction and maintenance of County roadways, drainage structures, and associated rights of way. The position involves performing a full range of construction and maintenance tasks at a journeyman level, including preparing and applying asphalt, conducting equipment maintenance, and ensuring safety procedures at construction sites. The incumbent may also provide on-the-job training and exercise technical supervision over other employees.
