About this role
The Emergency Support Services Operations Manager (ESSOM) oversees the operation of Reception Centres or Group Lodging facilities to deliver Emergency Support Services during emergency activations. The role reports to the Emergency Program Coordinator and requires active, year-round engagement with the ESS program and Vernon volunteers. Work is scheduled in response to emergencies (commonly July–September) and may require long or rapidly changing shifts. This is a paid casual position tied to emergency activations.
