Estimator

An Estimator prepares estimates for various projects, shares responsibility for cost accuracy with the project team, and assists other estimators and managers in all types of estimating tasks. The role involves preparing estimates using hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual methods, reading contract documents, and performing quantity take-offs. The position requires soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers, communicating to clarify pricing, and assisting with bid proposal preparation. Additionally, the Estimator prepares outline schedules and supports staff with special projects related to estimating.
