Estimator

An Estimator prepares estimates for various projects, shares responsibility for cost accuracy with project team and assists other estimators and managers in all types of estimating tasks. The role involves reading and improving contract documents, performing quantity take-offs, and soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers. The position requires collaboration with architects and owners, preparing bid proposals, and ensuring the delivery of predictable outcomes and integrity in construction projects.
