Event Planning Intern – Zoo

The Event Planning Intern – Zoo assists in the operation, setup, and teardown of events at the Peoria Zoo and Luthy Botanical Garden under the supervision of the Sales and Events Coordinator. This grant-funded internship provides professional development opportunities and involves participating in signature events while maintaining event spaces and supporting full-time staff. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as well as the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
