A Shift Supervisor at Live Nation Entertainment ensures guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removes hazards in the area of responsibility, prevents and resolves altercations among guests, leads guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures, maintains control by circulating through the work area throughout the shift, checks identification of guests under 30 years of age who are drinking alcoholic beverages, ensures no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down search, enforces house policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices, safeguards against theft and property damage, and communicates clearly using radios, hand signals, and flashlights. Remain in constant contact throughout the shift, sets up area before opening, and keeps interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles before, during, and after the shift.
