War Child is an international charity (originating in the Netherlands) that works to protect, empower and improve the resilience and wellbeing of children living with violence and armed conflict — summed up by its motto: "no child should be part of war. Ever." It delivers programs that provide safe spaces, psychosocial support, education, protection and livelihood support in conflict-affected communities. War Child also advocates and campaigns to stop the recruitment and exploitation of children, raises funds, and partners with local organizations and governments to scale impact.
