Evidence Technician

This position is responsible for receiving, recording, and maintaining the integrity of all police evidence, ensuring supplies and materials are documented and maintained. The role involves preserving evidence in the chain of custody, conducting unit inventories, and responding to public inquiries regarding evidence disposition. Additionally, the incumbent travels to field crime scenes to process evidence, operate specialized equipment like the IR-8000 Breathalyzer, and maintain necessary department supplies.
