The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is a national not‑for‑profit mental health charity in Canada with roughly 330 community locations that promotes mental health and supports people recovering from mental illness. CMHA delivers community‑based programs and services—such as counselling, peer support, housing and employment supports—alongside public education, workplace training, research, and policy advocacy. Working with local branches, governments and employers, it provides resources and training to reduce stigma, prevent mental health problems, and strengthen recovery pathways. Its mission, often voiced as “Mental Health for All,” focuses on creating inclusive communities where people can access support and thrive.
