About this role

The American Academy of Family Physicians is seeking an Executive Director for the AAFP Foundation who will also serve as Vice President of Development. This senior leader will provide overall management of the foundation’s $4M operating budget, strategic fundraising, grant acquisition, and stewardship of its humanitarian, educational, and scientific programs.

Responsibilities

Set and execute strategic fundraising and stewardship direction
Oversee the foundation’s $4M operating budget and $30M asset base
Lead and manage a team of nine employees and foundation programs

Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration finance, communication, or related fieldMaster's degree in a related fieldCertified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential
