Experienced Social Worker (Adults)

Torbay Council is recruiting experienced social workers to join its Adult Social Care service, working with adults who have complex care and support needs. The role involves conducting person‑centred assessments, managing a caseload, and coordinating multi‑disciplinary interventions to promote safety, independence and wellbeing. It requires strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding frameworks, as well as professional judgement and excellent communication skills.
