Archdiocese of Chicago is the Catholic Church’s regional authority serving the Chicago metropolitan area, led by the Archbishop. It provides spiritual leadership to hundreds of parishes, coordinates faith formation and pastoral programs, and operates a network of Catholic schools across the region. Through Catholic Charities Chicago and parish-based outreach, it delivers social services, disaster relief, and community support to those in need. The archdiocese emphasizes evangelization, sacramental life, education, and charitable service, uniting clergy, religious, and laypeople in service to the Catholic mission.
