About this role
An External Geometry Developer (ExtGeomDev) creates and maintains CAD models for a tire's external geometry (tread and markings), ensuring designs comply with specifications, regulations, manufacturability, cost, and standardization constraints. The role produces parametric master models and supporting documentation to enable series variations and performance representation. It also supports design performance estimation via CAD simulation models and contributes to method/tool improvements while providing training and mentorship to newcomers.
