About Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)

wcs.org

Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is an international conservation organization that protects wildlife and wild places through science, on-the-ground conservation action, education, and policy. WCS conducts research and implements programs to conserve species and habitats, establish and manage protected areas, and combat threats like habitat loss and wildlife crime. It also operates zoos and an aquarium in New York City to advance public education and inspire people to value nature. WCS works with governments, communities, and partners worldwide to scale science-driven solutions for biodiversity conservation.
