About this role
An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellow at Cook Children’s participates in a structured fellowship to transition into pediatric practice, receiving hands-on clinical experience, didactic learning, simulation, and professional development. The fellow works within a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of experienced providers across a variety of pediatric clinical settings. The program supports the development of advanced clinical skills and autonomy in caring for pediatric patients.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (APRN)
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License
- Current Texas Advanced Practice RN License
- Certified Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Current Texas Physician Assistant License
- PA-C Certification
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
