Working Families Party
The fellowship involves direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and community engagement to support Working Families Party candidates in Metro Atlanta. Fellows will lead canvassing and phone banking efforts, build and train a volunteer team, and serve as a liaison between campaigns and the organization.
Working Families Party (WFP) is a progressive political party and organizing network that fights for an America that works for the many, not the few. WFP builds a political home for voters and grassroots leaders who oppose bigotry and corporate bailouts and who prioritize workers’ rights, racial and economic justice, affordable healthcare, and accountable government. Through endorsements, candidate campaigns, local and state organizing, and policy advocacy, WFP backs progressive candidates and campaigns to shift power to working people.
